Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.
Valued at $1.6B, we’re accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.
Hadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.
Join Us in Advancing Tube & Piping Systems
We are building advanced pipe and tube manufacturing capabilities by integrating forming, cutting, joining, and inspection into a tightly controlled production system. From raw tube processing through bending, end forming, welding, and validation, we treat tube fabrication as a precision-driven discipline where geometry, cleanliness, and joint integrity are critical.
We are solving complex challenges in bend accuracy, weld quality, flow integrity, and scalable production. This requires engineers with deep expertise in tube processing and system-level integration.
This is a general opportunity to engage pipe and tube engineers with specialized experience across key process areas.
Core Specialty Areas
Tube Forming & Bending: CNC tube bending, bend sequencing, springback compensation
End Forming & Fittings: 37-degree flaring, end prep, fitting integration
Cutting & Preparation: Laser cutting, coping, beveling
Joining & Welding: Orbital welding, weld parameter control for tube systems
Cleaning & Contamination Control: Gross cleaning, cleanliness standards for fluid systems
Inspection & Metrology: CMM, 3D scanning, dimensional validation of complex tube geometries
Material Handling & Production Systems: VLM (vertical lift modules), tube storage, workflow optimization
What You’ll Do
Develop, qualify, and optimize tube fabrication processes for accuracy, repeatability, and throughput
Control key variables (bend radius, ovalization, wall thinning, weld integrity) to ensure system performance
Partner with manufacturing, quality, and design teams to ensure reliable tube assemblies
Lead root cause analysis for defects such as distortion, leakage, and dimensional nonconformance
Create and maintain process documentation, routing, and standard work
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
Demonstrated expertise in tube/pipe fabrication processes (bending, welding, or end forming)
Strong understanding of material behavior during bending and forming
Ability to interpret technical drawings, routing diagrams, and GD&T
Experience in production environments with tight tolerances and quality requirements
What Will Set You Apart
Experience across full tube lifecycle (cutting → bending → welding → inspection → cleaning)
Familiarity with high-purity or high-pressure fluid systems
Experience with automated tube processing and production line integration
Background in aerospace, energy, or other high-reliability systems
Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees
401k
Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.
Flexible vacation policy
