We are looking for a hands-on Field Engineer who takes pride in clean workmanship, enjoys assembling complex mechanical systems, and is excited to deploy high-precision machines in the field—often in remote and beautiful locations around the world.
Responsibilities
Assemble complex mechanical systems and subsystems using high-accuracy tools like torque wrenches and micrometers.
Execute full-cycle integration, from initial fit-checks and alignment to final mechanical quality inspections.
Route and secure RF, power, and signal cabling while maintaining strict ESD protocols.
Lead outdoor installation efforts, including rigging, anchoring, and precision leveling of large-scale structures.
Support site retrofits, adjustments, and infrastructure connections to ensure long-term operational success.
Collaborate with engineers to optimize build processes and maintain a world-class, safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years in high-reliability environments (Aerospace, Military, or Industrial) with a "get-it-done" mindset.
Deep familiarity with gearboxes, motors, actuated systems, and weatherproofing techniques.
Experienced in rigging and operating heavy equipment (forklifts, cranes, or aerial lifts).
Skilled in both mechanical assembly and basic electrical integration, including harness routing and grounding.
Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and navigating tight or confined spaces during complex builds.
A high school diploma (or equivalent) backed by strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to precision.
Compensation Range: $70K - $100K
