Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.
Valued at $1.6B, we’re accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.
Hadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.
Join Us in Building Advanced Electronic Systems
We are developing high-performance electronic and electro-mechanical systems by integrating materials, electrical design, and precision manufacturing across the full production lifecycle from cell formation and winding through assembly, validation, and system-level testing.
We treat electronics manufacturing as a tightly coupled system spanning electrochemistry, electromagnetics, and mechanical integration. This enables higher reliability, performance, and scalability in demanding environments.
We are solving complex challenges across battery systems, motor components, assembly processes, and validation testing. This requires engineers with deep domain expertise who can operate across disciplines.
This is a general opportunity to engage engineers with specialized experience across key electronics and electro-mechanical process areas.
Core Specialty Areas
Cell & Electrochemistry Systems: Cell creation, battery chemistry, formation processes
Electromagnetic Components: Copper wire winding (coils, stators, inductive components), magnet installation
Assembly & Integration: Electronics assembly, module/system integration, lamination stacking
Inspection & Electrical Validation: BMS validation, voltage testing, cell health diagnostics
Environmental & Reliability Testing: Spin testing, vibration (vibe), thermal testing and validation
What You’ll Do
Apply domain expertise to develop, qualify, and optimize electronic and electro-mechanical manufacturing processes
Control critical parameters (electrical performance, thermal behavior, mechanical tolerances) to ensure system reliability
Partner with manufacturing, quality, and test teams to deploy scalable production systems
Develop process documentation, test procedures, and validation protocols
Lead root cause analysis across electrical, mechanical, and thermal failure modes
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
Demonstrated expertise in at least one core area (battery systems, winding, assembly, or testing)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, signal integrity, and/or electrochemical behavior
Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system-level requirements
Experience working in production or lab environments with a focus on reliability and performance
What Will Set You Apart
Experience across both electrical and mechanical domains (true electro-mechanical systems)
Background in battery systems, motors, or high-power electronics
Familiarity with validation frameworks (HALT/HASS, environmental testing, lifecycle testing)
Experience in aerospace, automotive, energy storage, or other high-reliability industries
Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees
401k
Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.
Flexible vacation policy
