Own the contract-to-cash process for projects, including billing schedules, invoicing, and alignment between contractual terms and financial execution
Perform and review revenue vs. billing reconciliations (unbilled AR, deferred revenue), ensuring completeness and accuracy of revenue and balance sheet accounts
Partner cross-functionally with operations, program management, supply chain, and finance to ensure project financials accurately reflect operational reality
Assist in ensuring a timely and accurate month-end close, owning reconciliations and project-related accounting processes
Drive continuous improvement of project accounting processes, controls, and NetSuite configurations to support scalability and audit readiness
Support ad-hoc technical accounting projects and operational accounting needs as they arise

Strong understanding of core accounting concepts for manufacturing and project-based businesses
Subject matter expertise in ASC 606, particularly for project-based or contract-driven revenue models
Experience leading project accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and revenue recognition
Proven ability to prepare and defend technical accounting memos, including revenue recognition and internally developed software
Understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and activity-based costing, including labor and overhead drivers
Experience with revenue vs. billing reconciliations (unbilled AR, deferred revenue) and contract-to-cash workflows
High attention to detail with a strong desire to understand the “why” behind financial results
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-scaling environment and adapt processes as the business evolves
Public Accounting experience (Hadrian is open to hiring directly out of Public Accounting)
Experience working with NetSuite, particularly project accounting modules (strongly preferred)
